I’m beginning to notice a pattern. I should be working, and instead I’m starting a post on almond flour.
It helps clear my head.
Because, if I have to write or read one more sentence about information technology contracts my brain might explode. And, full disclosure, I had to write that sentence twice because I couldn’t remember how to spell ‘explode’…. that’s what writing IT resumes does to me.
So, a brain break is needed.
Which brings me to almond flour.
Remember: to get almond flour, use blanched almonds. To get almond meal, use normal almonds.
Place your desired amount of almond in a food processor and process for a few seconds. Only until it has the flour consistency.
Then stop!
If you don’t, you’ll end up with almond butter….which is delicious too.
